The kennel of German Boxers named VON AISNEREN got its name after the ancient German title of the small Slovenian city nowdays known as Železniki.

Both titles - the old and the new one are closely related to the economic activity strongly present here in the past centuries. That activity was ironmaking - including mining, foundries and forging as well. Nowdays these branches are not as present as once were, but because of this many others have been brought to life.
